In Brief

Customary House | Dusun
A customary house/area where indigenous people obtain food and other products. The excess from the proceeds they sell to meet other needs such as children's school fees, and others. Practically a family group can spend a week in their hamlet (village) looking for, taking, catching and hunting what is available in their customary forest.
This is still being practiced by indigenous peoples in Papua, including communities along the Kais river, South Sorong Regency, which is has been relied on their sago villages as a source of livelihood for generations.
Together with the indigenous peoples' group we have prepared a special tour package for brothers, sisters who wants to live, see & learn directly about the activities of indigenous peoples in their village while enjoying the natural atmosphere of the New Guinea jungle  | away from modernization  | or cities.
